Birthday Party Give-away Prizes!

I am so excited and giddy about doing a Give-away... I'm not sure why. I guess- usually my birthday comes and goes.. with little fan-fair but this year, since blogging, I wanted party in true blogging form.

It has been fun having family and friends donate things to my birthday give-away! I'm touched.
So let's start the parade of prizes!
(In no special order...)
I still need to find the picture for the first couple- my sister sent me an email- and I can't find it at the moment...
Emily is making a pair of warm and stylish Arm warmers! I've posted about how much I think those are soo cool. Thanks Em... your my favorite sister in the whole world.
Zac's Cartoon Cave ( my nephew) is donating a helpful book about how to draw Nintendo Cartoon characters. He's a 10 year old artist. Thank you Zac! You rock!

If you've visited this site before- you know how much I like making cards. So I am giving-away an assortment of handmade Christmas cards. That's right sista's you could have a beautiful selection of handmade Christmas cards to send out this year- having done none of the work yourself! {But your friends and family don't need to know that.}

This next item is a blast-from a Birthday past. A few years ago for my birthday I wanted to buy pearls for a group of girls who were being fostered by a family in our ward. {My college roommate was a foster child and I saw first hand some of the struggle it is being raised in the foster care system then being kicked out at age 18 years old. Awful- I know!} Anyway I was serving in the Young Women's program at the time and got to know these truly amazing young women. {That family is so inspiring.} So anyway- that is all I wanted for my birthday was to buy pearls for these girls. I let my children in on the fun and we went to a place that does the pearls in the oysters. So my boys got to pick oysters and then we had the pearls set as pendants. Pearls have a sentimental meaning to me. I guess I'll post this story and link back to it.. it's kinda long.. but regardless- we bought some extra pearls that day and this is one of them. Beautiful creme color.

Amanda, my Amazing sister-in-law- who is currently on bed rest awaiting the birth of her fourth baby, has offered to make {one} Peppermint Kissed Hat. She has already made a baby hat, but says winner can request a child or adult hat in this pattern. Thank you Amanda! Adorable!

My -Mazing friend and neighbor Martha- tennis pro at BYU-H is willing to donate a 45 min private tennis lesson. If you wish you had "game" she's the gal to help. { Let me know in your post if you are planning a trip to Hawaii- we'll work you in! :0) }

So let's start spreading the word!
