Christmas Tree Dedication

Entry in Tip Junkie Christmas Tree Give-Away!

Christmas Trees are my favorite holiday decorations. I love sentimental FAMILY Christmas trees as opposed to theme trees that look perfect but seem and feel sterile to me.

Each ornament, token or trinkets has potential to hold a Christmas tradition or memory.

Mementos from vacations, places you've lived, handmade ornaments, store bought ornaments each help tell the story linking Christmas's from the past to the anticipation of the present Christmas.

Just a few examples:
This little white angel is from my childhood. Whenever I place her on our tree I remember finding her in my pocket while walking to school one day in elementary school. I was so surprised! I remember I had been struggling in school and finding this little angel made me know, my mom understood.

While this Hawaiian angel will always represent our time living in Hawaii.

I love her hibiscus pattern dress and her ukulele, with her bare little feet. ( my kids are always running around barefoot.) I know, when I am older and my kids are grown- memories of living in Hawaii will live on each year as I decorate our tree.

Beautiful tree and love your ornaments. I enjoy remembering little details about each ornament also. I hope my boys enjoy remembering the stories behind their ornaments from each year.
