Thanks to Amanda my sister-in-law for sending me this picture.
It has been so fun to see all these old pictures- I don't know if it is helping with my homesickness though.

Did your mom make you pose each year- outside- in your FRONT lawn..so all neighbors and random passersby could see you in ... all your dance costumes?
This is actually my favorite costume- there are a few from Jr. High that were very scary- my dance teacher really embraced the neon-trend.

there is something mildly disturbing about the bum-ruffle... but the hat... it makes the outfit!

Hahahahaha! I would never have pictures like that of me anywhere. Especially ones of me wearing hammershorts I made to post on my blog.
Suddenly the pictures of me in school uniform on our front lawn don't seem so bad...
I didn't do dance. I didn't even know about the costumes until I saw my niece's hand-me-downs. Her teacher still seems to be embracing the neon trend...
